Recently I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot some Winnipeg engagement photos with this awesome couple Stephan and Miranda! With it being early October, we were surrounded with gorgeous fall foliage that really popped in the images. It was also golden hour which made the colours pop even more! We did the engagement shoot at Birds Hill Provincial Park in Winnipeg.
It was a clear evening, starting around an hour before sunset, and we got some very beautiful lighting during golden hour. I threw my Moment CineBloom Diffusion Filter on my lens which really gave the images this dreamy, film-like feel. The Winnipeg engagement photoshoot resulted not only with some of my favourite images ever, but with some intimate and silly moments between the couple that they’ll remember forever. It’s about the couple having fun and being themselves. Stephan and Miranda laughed and had fun, and found joy in each other and excitement for their future.
During the shoot, I use silly prompts, even though I sometimes question the words coming out of my mouth because of how weird it can sound, but as a result, they lead to some amazing candid moments of the couple for their Winnipeg engagement photos which make doing them totally worth it! Their unique personalities and style shined throughout the shoot. As the photoshoot wrapped up and the sun set, Stephan and Miranda jumped around, hand in hand. It was a perfect end to a beautiful day, and the photos captured every magical moment.
