This Summer I went on a trip for my birthday to Banff National Park and had the opportunity to shoot some Banff engagement photos with this awesome couple Bethany and Kendal! Heading out to the Canadian Rockies is always a treat, and this was no exception! Alberta is a beautiful province, with some of the most gorgeous mountain views in the world. As difficult as it was, especially after driving 14 hours the day prior, we woke for sunrise, and it was so worth it.
It was an interesting morning, starting off at dawn, there was a ton of fog that was making its way through the area very quickly. There were little pockets of time when it would clear and we would get some blue skies, but it was mostly overcast and moody which I loved. The Banff engagement photoshoot resulted in some incredible images, but also with some amazing, beautiful moments between the couple. Bethany and Kendal had fun and enjoyed the views even while being cold and exhausted at 6 am and found joy in each other and excitement for their future.
During the shoot, I use silly prompts that create unique and candid moments of the couple for their Banff engagement photos. You can see their fun personalities shine through the photos. As the photoshoot came to an end, Bethany and Kendal took in the incredible panoramic mountain views, hand in hand. It was a perfect start to a beautiful day, and the photos captured the moment perfectly.
