Last week, my wife and I went on vacation for the holidays in the Canadian Rockies, and while there, I had the opportunity to shoot some Canmore engagement photos for one of my amazing wedding couples Autumn and Gavin! Having recently moved to Canada, going out and seeing the beautiful mountains in Banff National Park is always a treat. We did the engagement shoot at Quarry Lake Park in Canmore. While the lake is frozen and covered in snow at this time of year, the mountain views are still absolutely magical!
It was an overcast day, but we got a glimpse of sun, creating some really magical scenes during the shoot! The Canmore engagement photoshoot was not just about the picturesque setting and sweet moments between the couple. It was also about having fun and being themselves. Autumn and Gavin laughed and joked with each other, relishing in their joy and excitement for the future.
I captured candid moments, as well as more posed shots, of the couple for their Canmore engagement photos. This allowed them to showcase their unique personalities and style. As the day ended and the sun disappeared behind the mountains, Autumn and Gavin danced together, hand in hand. It was a perfect end to a perfect day, and the photos captured every magical moment.
